Welcome to the official terms of collaboration with Seraphine Black. If you’re here, you’re likely working with Seraphine on a song, campaign, or creative collaboration—and that’s exciting. However, with great sound comes great responsibility.

Please read this page carefully, as it outlines your rights, obligations, and what’s absolutely non-negotiable when it comes to protecting the work and reputation of the artist.

PAID COMMISSIONS — Full Ownership

If you’ve paid the full rate for a custom song (see pricing structure via quote or rate sheet), here’s what’s included:

✅ You Receive:

Full usage rights to the final song, both .mp3 and .wav formats.
Rights to use the track for commercial purposes (e.g., ads, reels, audiobooks, events, streaming, distribution, etc.).
You are not required to pay royalties.

🔐 Conditions:

You must credit Seraphine Black as the Singer/Songwriter in all public usage.
Seraphine Black retains creative credit, even if full rights are transferred.
Distribution and publishing are your responsibility. Seraphine Black is not liable for release management or metadata entry.

50/50 COLLABORATIONS — Joint Ownership

If you’ve opted for a half-ownership collaboration, this is a partnership.

✅ You Receive:

50% ownership of the track (as agreed in writing).
.wav and .mp3 copies for distribution and monetized use.
Rights to use the song in approved digital formats after Seraphine’s official release.

⏳ Important:

Seraphine Black will handle initial distribution and the song will be made available for download/streaming on all major platforms.
You must wait 14 days after release before using the song for your own publishing or monetized purposes, to avoid violating platform exclusivity clauses.

📝 Additional Requirements:

You will need a DistroKid (or equivalent) account to claim your 50% royalties.
All usage must include credit: "Performed & Co-Written by Seraphine Black."
Songs cannot be sold as NFTs or used for AI model training without joint consent.

FREE COLLABORATIONS — Promotional Use Only

If this is a free collaboration, you're welcome to share in the magic—but there are firm limits.

❌ You Do Not Have:

Direct access to the full audio files (.wav or .mp3).
Rights to upload, remix, alter, distribute, or commercially use the song in any capacity.
Ownership or profit rights.

✅ You Can:

Share Seraphine’s official social media posts.
Embed videos where the song is featured (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels).
Link to the official track on streaming platforms or social media.

🚨 Strict Conditions:

Downloading the song through unofficial or illegal means (e.g., ripping, screen recording, conversion apps) is considered theft.
Any attempt to distribute, monetize, or remix the track without permission will result in:
- Immediate DMCA takedowns across platforms.
- Legal action for breach of intellectual property rights.
- Potential removal of the entire album or track from stores, impacting everyone involved.
